Still Life: Zested Orange

I don't know ... I just thought this was one cool-looking picture of an orange.

  1. Today I copied your "Where I'm From" poem and want to use it in a class I do for senior citizens. Most of them live in elder care facilities. Your's is a good poem--and so is your blog.

I won't use it if you don't want me to. If you would just whistle past my blog and let me know, then...

You might enjoy a blogger friend of mine, Julia the Runner Girl. The link to her running blog is in my blog roll. She's quite the runner. So is her husband.

And I plan to walk across America in 2010 and 2011 when I retire. I will buy your hubster's book before I go. Promise. I like to walk alot. Can't jog or run anymore... I also like distance walking, so we'll see...

  2. Beautiful photo. So what did you make with the zest???

  3. It looks cool. Thank you for sharing. Pleasant surprises like these make life a little more bearable.

  4. That is quite beautiful... I have recently, over the last six months or so, become completely infatuated with oranges and their kin...particularly mineolas and tangelos...they're often juicier with a more "mangoey" taste and easier to peel/less seeds.

I'm always trying to peel them without breaking the peel into two - I'll have to try some artwork like this. I wonder if it was done with a tool or just a thumbnail?
