... how, when they refer to "Wadsworth" throughout their paper on Wordsworth, or quote the philosopher "Plado" throughout their paper on Platonic forms, it really takes the wind out of a teacher's sails. All my motivation for grading just goes right down the drain.
If any of my students are reading this: I love you dearly. I really and truly do. Especially you. I just wish you would make that little extra effort required to spell the name of your main topic of discussion correctly. To do so would work wonders for your credibility. Plus, it would help keep Mrs. Waterfall's heart rate at a normal level.
Four papers down, four to go. Sigh.
